Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

I keep this simple, because you have enough to read. This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this site, join my email list, or send me a message.

Who I am

This site is run by Nicole R Bach, publishing as Bramble & Vine Press. If you have any question about your information — or you'd like it removed — email me at hello@nicolerbach.com and I'll take care of it myself.

What I collect, and when

If you join my email list: Your email address. That's it — I don't ask for your name, your location, or anything about the person you're caring for.

If you use my contact form: Your name, your email address, and whatever you write in your message.

When you simply visit: My website host records basic technical information such as page views and general location (country or region), in the same way almost every website does. This is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.

I never ask for, and never want, information about your health or the health of the person you care for.

Why I collect it

To send you the free Scripts & Tools Pack when you ask for it. To send occasional emails about new books, resources, and things I think will genuinely help. And to reply to you when you write to me.

I don't send frequent emails, and I don't send anything I wouldn't want to receive myself.

Who else sees it

Two companies help me run this site, and your information passes through their systems:

  • MailerLite — My email service. They store subscriber email addresses and send the emails on my behalf.

  • Framer — My website host. They host these pages and process contact form submissions.

That's the entire list. I don't sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for advertising. I never will.

Email tracking

Like most email services, MailerLite records whether an email was opened and whether a link was clicked. I use this only to understand whether what I'm sending is useful — for example, whether people actually download the free pack. If that bothers you, most email programs let you block images, which prevents open tracking.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies necessary to make it work properly. I don't use advertising cookies and I don't run ads here.

Links to other sites

My book pages link to Amazon, where the books are sold. Once you're on Amazon, their privacy policy applies, not mine.

How long I keep things

I keep your email address for as long as you want to stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, you are removed from my active list. Contact form messages are kept only as long as I need them to reply and keep a sensible record of our correspondence.

Your choices

You can leave whenever you like. Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately — no questions, no "are you sure," no hard feelings.

You can also ask me to show you what information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email hello@nicolerbach.com and I'll do it. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights under law — but honestly, you have them here regardless of where you live, because it's your information.

Children

This site is written for adults caring for aging parents, and it isn't directed at children. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this page

If I change how any of this works, I'll update this page and change the date at the top.
